It's Alive! Stanley Park's Life List

Thu Sep 24, 2020, Online Webinar, BC

Ever wonder what lives within Stanley Park’s 405 hectares of forest, wetland and beaches? Find out in this webinar as we explore community science through the launch of a new and exciting Stanley Park Life List!

This comprehensive list of all the species that SPES staff and community members have documented in the Park helps us understand the Park’s biodiversity over time.

Participants will learn about the community science activities that happen right in Stanley Park, what it means to do community science, and how participants can join SPES in the research it conducts. This life list was created through a collaboration between volunteer Paul Chiu and SPES Conservation Manager, Ariane Comeau, and will be presented by Ariane herself!

*Tickets must be reserved in advance.
**This program will take place on Zoom, so please make sure you have Zoom downloaded well in advance of the webinar. A Zoom link can be found within your confirmation email, and will also be sent out one hour before the start of the program. Only one ticket required per household.
