The transportation system is supposed to provide universal access to jobs, goods, services and leisure activities. However, people have different incomes, needs and abilities so some gain better access than others. Transport Futures is convening an Equity Summit on December 9 to discuss how transit, rail and road planning can treat everyone fairly. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear leading-edge research and case studies by Canadian and American experts, including:

• Steven Farber, Assistant Professor of Geography, University of Toronto
• Shagithya Deivendran, Project Lead - Automated Vehicles, City of Toronto
• Jennifer Dean, Assistant Professor of Planning, University of Waterloo
• Gregory Shill, Associate Professor of Law, University of Iowa
• Dennis Kar, Senior Transit / Transportation Specialist, Dillon Consulting
• David King, Assistant Professor of Urban Planning, Arizona State University
• Daniel Firth, Principal Consultant, WSP Canada
• ...more speakers to be announced soon!
